Ingredients
- 1 cup of flaked coconut without added sugar
- 20 ounces of mixed nuts that have been roasted
- 2 packages of beef jerky, each weighing 2.9 ounces, and then chopped
- ½ cup of raw pumpkin seeds
- 3 ounces of dried cranberries
- 3 ounces of dried apricots, which have been chopped
Step 1
Start by gently toasting the coconut in a spacious skillet over a low flame, allowing it to reach the perfect level of crunchiness, which usually takes around 5 minutes. Once done, turn off the heat and allow the coconut to cool down.
Step 2
Next, prepare an airtight container and add in the nuts, jerky, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and apricots. Give the container a good shake to mix all the ingredients together. Once the coconut has cooled, add it into the container as well and shake everything again to ensure all flavors are well combined.
Extra Tips & Suggestions
- 1. Seal in the Flavor: Keep your savory beef jerky blend in an airtight container to preserve its delicious taste and aroma for longer.
- 2. Layer it Right: Store your beef jerky in a single layer to prevent pieces from sticking together and maintain their individual flavors.
